Discover the Fun of San Clemente Fiesta Street Fair!

Orange County is a great summer destination for 2012 with the recent opening of Cars Land in Disneyland California Adventure. Those staying
in hotels near Disneyland Park may want to venture further south for more entertainment. If you’ll be in town on August 12, make a stop at the San Clemente Street Fair for a day of fun benefitting 45 local non-profits.
International food and game booths will be sponsored by local non-profit organizations, and there will be three stages with live music throughout the day. With arts & crafts show, business expositions, kid’s rides, clowns, jugglers, face painting and much more, there are activities to entertain all.
Automobile and Motorcycle buffs will want to check out the Classic Car & Harley Bike show. Vintage cars from Southern California and as far as Arizona will be displayed. Trophies will be awarded in many different categories.
Special children’s activities include a family petting corral, jump house, children’s rides, contests, face painting, balloon art and more. The U.S. Marines, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air force & the U.S. Army will all be displaying vehicles and information. Other exhibits include: Pet Project Foundation, U.S. Border Patrol, K-EARTH101, Orange County Sheriff’s Department, San Diego Gas & Electric and many more will host exhibits.
Contests will be held for both adults and kids alike, along with a salsa challenge. Individual and restaurant chefs will create unique salsa recipes to be judged for prizes. Other contests of the festival include The Tortilla Toss, Pie-Eating Contest, Hula Hoop, Diaper Derby, Easter Egg Hunt, Piñata Contest, Jump Rope, Baskin Robbins Brain Freeze Ice Cream Eating Contest and Pickle Eating Contest.
Admission to the 58th festival is completely free. Complimentary shuttle service is available from San Clemente High School. The shuttle will run from 9:30am until 6:30pm. Hope you have a great day at the San Clemente Fiesta Street Fair!
