Holiday Cheer at the Chistmas Company's Shopping Event

November means the start of the holiday season, and it’s always a good idea to start shopping early. Too often holiday shopping is done last minute. If you happen to be in Orange County this November, you’re in luck! You can check out the Christmas Company’s Shopping Event at the Orange County Fairgrounds and find the perfect gift for every loved one.
The theme of this year’s The Christmas Company is “A Home-Cooked Holiday.” The event will feature over 90 specialty vendors from all over the United States. Special events are also planned throughout the weekend to further entic
e shoppers. The first event is a preferred shopping preview window from 11am to 3pm on Thursday, November 17. For $35, you get peek at all products before the event opens to the public. Sip champagne hosted by The Naked Grape while you shop and the first 200 guests will receive special treats courtesy of Meghan Flaherty of Escape Salon, Vernice Vita , Arbonne and much more (actual value over $150!).
On Friday, November 18, shoppers can come to the Christmas Company’s Yoga Event featuring Kimberley Fowler, founder of YAS and author of The No Om Zone. She will talk about how yoga helped her recover from brain cancer, sports injuries and launch her own small business. Then she will instruct a yoga class for all levels to help relax and strengthen all participants. The first 100 guests will receive spicy lemonade and goodies including a yoga mat, towel and Costom Couture Blondies Hoodie. Other special events include a Girl’s Night Out, PJs & Pancakes for families, Cooking Demo with Chef Zov Karamardian and a Fancy Nancy Tea Party for all ages.
This is the 36th year of the fundraising event for the Junior League of Orange County, California, Inc. Funds raised during the event are used to promote volunteering, the potential of women and improving the community through action and leadership of trained volunteers. The JLOCC has raised over $7 million through the Christmas Company that is donated right back to the community. In 2010, the JLOCC benefitted over 1800 children in need.
