Start the Holidays with Chocolate from the Orange County Chocolate Festival!

Do you have cravings for some chocolate? If you happen to be in Orange County this autumn, head on over to Fountain Valley for the Orange County Chocolate Festival, hosted by Fountain Valley Living Magazine on November 4-5!
Lynn Seeden and her husband Curt Seeden created this festival last year to raise money for the Fountain Valley Community Foundation. The foundation assist
s groups like the Boys and Girls Club in fund raising for local schools and senior citizen lunches in the Fountain Valley Community. Last year, the Orange County Chocolate Festival raised $8000 towards this great cause.
Last year’s highlights included Socially Sweet Events’ cupcakes and cookies, Ruhl Family vineyard’s Chardonnay and Mangiamg’s champagne gelato from Huntington Beach. The Chocolate Mousse from Shakes Restaurant at Waterfront Hilton on Huntington Beach was also a big hit.
The Seedens started the Fountain Valley Living Magazine in 2009 after leaving the Orange County Register. The magazine takes an in-depth look at the culture and community of Fountain Valley. Lynn describes the event as “A big party,” and expects around 2,000 guests based on last year’s sales. Around 70 chocolatiers, bakers, candy makers and wine vendors are expected to showcase their treats at this event. Guests can also enjoy live music, a chocolate fashion show, and a diamond raffle. The festival is a great place to get a head start on holiday shopping for everyone with treats, jewelry, candles and more shopping!
General admission to the festival costs $25 or VIP tickets for $50. With general admission, guests can sample eight chocolates and three wines. With VIP admission, guests celebrate in their own private room with hors d’oeuvres and unlimited chocolate tastings. All ages are invited to purchase tickets for this event. Tickets can be bought online here and at the door.
