Visit Disneyland for the Holidays!
Tags: disneyland christmas halloween Attractions Orange County Events holidays Thanksgiving
The holidays are one of the most popular times to visit Disneyland with the family. If you’re staying in cheap hotels by Disneyland CA, you’ll be able to experience the magic of the Merriest Place on Earth. Bring the whole family for a truly memorable holiday vacation!
One of the season’s highlights is “Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle” and the snow that covers its many towers. Icicles and lights will adorn the castle, making it look like a jewel of a winter wonderland. A presentation will unfold throughout the evening in three acts, now with winter snow on Main Street U.S.A. The finale of the night is the legendary “Believe…in Holiday Magic” fireworks show, which takes guests on a journey of snow, magic and the joys of winter to “White Christmas.” Icicles will appear on the castle as snow falls on Main Street, New Orleans Square, and Small World Mall.
You can join the infamous Jack Skellington from “The Nightmare Before Christmas” at the redecorated Haunted Mansion. Halloween and Christmas come together for a transformation of the popular ride. Sandy Claws himself welcomes guests to enter his very own “scary Christmas” masterpiece that will delight the whole family. Another ride highlight during the holidays is “It’s a Small World.” Decorated with 300,000 dazzling lights, this attraction will display several different international displays of Christmas. The kids will love hearing the beloved tune “Jingle Bells” in many languages.
Don’t forget to check out Main Street U.S.A for the parade! Mickey and all your favorite Disney characters will light up your holiday season with “A Christmas Fantasy Parade” of gingerbread men, snowflakes and Christmas characters. Another tradition is the 60 foot Christmas Tree located in Town Square. The streets are decked out with garland and wreaths to celebrate this time of year. Children have the chance to decorate cookies on Main Street and New Orleans Square.
Disneyland has all kinds of fun in store for the family during the holidays so buy your tickets today!
