Witness the Tinker Bell Half Marathon at Disneyland!

If you are staying in hotels around Disneyland CA this January, chances are you are running in the Tinkerbell Half Marathon for Martin Luther King weekend. The race is a great way to experience the park and work out in the process! The half marathon is already sold out, but tickets are still available to accompanying events and you can also view the race during your visit to the park.

The weekend will kick off with the Never Land Family Fun Run 5K. You can run with your whole family as a warm up to the Tinker Bell Half Marathon. The race starts at 5am on January 19. Little runners who want a piece of the action can participate in the runDisney Kids Races on the same day starting at 9am. Children ages 8 and under can choose between 100 to 400 meter dash based on their age group. Even infants can crawl during the Diaper Dash.

The race will take place at 5am on Sunday, January 20. The start and finish line will be at Disneyland Resort. Come celebrate your inner Miss Bell at this race full of pixie dust and Never, Never Land adventure. The course is 13.1 miles through the Disneyland Resort and the City of Anaheim, CA. Entertainment is available on-course and at the family reunion area with your favorite Disney characters. Each finisher will receive an exclusive Tinker Bell-inspired Finisher Medal.

Race participants will receive a Champion Long-Sleeved Tech Shirt in Women’s or Men’s cut, Official Race Program Guide, one-year subscription to Redbook, iGift bag, personalized bib, refreshments and a personalized results website. Each runner will be tagged with a ChronoTrack B-tag with live runner tracking signup for friends and family.  You are invited to come to the Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend Expo on Friday January 18-19 to pick up your race number and packet and purchase the latest merchandise and nutritional products.
